Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with an innovative education provider to recruit a Construction Tutor for a newly opening Alternate Provision setting in Towcester. This provision builds on the success of an established site in North Northamptonshire and is designed to offer a hands‑on, engaging curriculum for students who benefit from a more practical approach to learning.
As a Construction Tutor, you will deliver vocational learning in areas such as basic construction skills, health and safety, and practical project work. You will play a key role in engaging students who may have become disengaged from traditional classroom learning, helping them develop confidence, skills, and pathways for the future.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience in construction or a related trade, with a passion for teaching or mentoring
- Can build strong relationships with students and inspire engagement
- Are patient, adaptable, and approachable
- Have experience working with young people (education, youth work, or similar)
- Are committed to supporting students with additional needs or barriers to learning
