Your Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and personalised lessons that meet the individual needs of their pupils with EHCPs.
• Creating a calm, supportive and inclusive classroom where pupils feel safe, respected and ready to learn.
• Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCO and external professionals to provide the best possible outcome for every child.
• Monitoring progress and adapting socially and emotionally.
• Promoting confidence, reliance and independence through positive relationships and consistent support.
• Encouraging pupils to overcome barriers to learning and celebrate their achievements.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS.
• Has experience teaching in a primary, SEND or specialist education setting, or a strong desire to develop within SEMH education.
• Can adapt lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is empathetic, patient and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a dedicated support staff team.
