Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of schools in Ellesmere Port who are looking to recruit Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs. As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Work with children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Help pupils to access learning, manage emotions and engage in school life
  • Support behaviour, routines and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams

Roles are available in mainstream schools and specialist provisions. You do not need school experience for this role if you have experience from:

  • Care or support work
  • Residential or children's homes
  • Youth work or mentoring
  • Coaching, sports or tutoring
  • Health and social care roles
