Are you a SEN Support Worker looking for a new role in Lewisham, South East London? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a SEN Support Worker to join a lovely SEN School based in Lewisham starting immediately. This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent. The position will range from £90 to £110 per day dependant on experience.
The SEN School is a 'Good' Ofsted rated school for children aged between 2 to 19 years old with MLD, SLD, SLCN and Autism. The school provides specialist education through a specialist curriculum with extensive high-quality resources and facilities on site. The school also has dedicated Therapists on site including Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapists to aid student well-being. The school provides parking on-site and in local areas.
You will be working as a SEN Support Worker supporting different students across KS3 and KS4 on a 1:1 basis with MLD and Autism. You will be required to aid the students' learning and also provide assistance during activities outside of the school's setting.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold previous experience working within SEN
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
