This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school kitchen or catering experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping provide nutritious meals for children.
The Role:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals.
- Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Working alongside an experienced Catering Assistant as part of a friendly and supportive team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working in a school kitchen or similar catering environment.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- The ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
- A reliable, flexible, and positive attitude.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
