Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to work across Primary Schools in Medway and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who is looking for a full-time, long-term role and wants to make a positive difference to children's learning and development.
The Role
Supporting pupils across the Primary age range within the classroom.
Working on a 1:1, small-group, or whole-class basis depending on the needs of the school.
Supporting pupils with their learning, development, confidence, and independence.
Working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning activities.
Providing additional support to pupils who may have SEND or additional learning needs.
Helping pupils stay focused, engaged, and motivated throughout the school day.
Supporting children's social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Supporting pupils during lessons, break times, lunchtimes, and school activities.
Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence, communication, and social skills.
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff.
Following school policies and maintaining high standards of safeguarding and professional conduct.
Who We're Looking For
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School is essential.
A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them succeed.
Experience supporting pupils with SEND would be highly advantageous.
Patience, empathy, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
A reliable and professional approach to work.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential due to the location of some schools.
Must be available for full-time, long-term roles, Monday to Friday....
