We are looking for experienced and passionate Primary Trained Teachers across South Croydon who are happy to support one‑form entry up to four‑form entry Primary Schools with absence cover. Supply work can be a great avenue for Early Career Teachers looking to broaden their experience, and we welcome applications from ECTs.
What to expect as a Supply Teacher:
- Deliver lessons based on the absent teacher's plans.
- Supervise and engage students during lessons, breaks, lunch, detention, and other school routines when requested.
- Manage classroom behaviour, enforce expectations, and uphold the school's behaviour policies.
- Take registers, attend assemblies, and undertake other day‑to‑day duties of the permanent teacher.
- Ensure a safe, secure learning environment and follow school safety protocols (e.g., fire drills, safeguarding).
Pay: £155 minimum per day for ECTs and £160 – £165 per day for Fully Qualified Teachers. Top end of sliding scale only offered to candidates travelling further distance than outlined preference upon registration.
