Location: Manchester

Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday), September 2026

Salary: £95 - £100 PAYE per day (dependent on experience)

Hours: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a Primary School in the heart of Manchester who is looking for an Early Years TA to work in their Pre-School room. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, thrive, and grow.

About the Role:

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in the Pre-School room, you will play a vital role in the early development of young learners, helping to lay the foundation for their educational journey. Working full-time, Monday to Friday, you will provide exceptional care and support to children under 3, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the EYFS curriculum by delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Creating a nurturing, welcoming, and safe environment where children can build their confidence and independence.
  • Assisting with day-to-day routines, including meal times, personal care, and outdoor activities.
  • Observing and assessing children's progress, maintaining accurate records, and providing feedback to parents and carers.
  • Collaborating with the wider early years and school staff to deliver a seamless learning experience.
  • Ensuring all safeguarding and health and safety protocols are followed at all times.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working within the EYFS, particularly with children under 3 years old.
  • A passion for supporting children's early development and helping them reach key milestones.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding practices and child development.
