Are you passionate about working with children with additional needs? Do you have experience working with children in Early Years? Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a number of schools who are looking for Early Years Teaching Assistants to work with children with SEN on a part-time basis. You will be working closely with the classroom teacher and the SENDCO to ensure positive outcomes. We are looking for flexible, passionate and motivated TAs to join us.
Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum
- Lead small groups and early learning activities, promoting development through play
- Contribute to observations, assessments and learning journals
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for all pupils
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times
Requirements
- Experience working within a nursery or school-based Early Years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, caring approach
- Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the update service
