Tradewind London are delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to play a key role within a supportive school environment, working closely with teachers and practitioners to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. The position is available for an immediate start and offers the potential for continuity and stability within a well-established setting.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children's learning and development through high-quality, play-based provision, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where all pupils can thrive. You will work collaboratively with the EYFS team to deliver the curriculum and support children's academic, social, and emotional development.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom in line with the EYFS framework
- Delivering high-quality learning activities through structured and child-led play
- Providing targeted support for individual children and small groups
- Supporting children's personal care, wellbeing, and daily routines
- Observing, assessing, and contributing to children's learning records
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting social and emotional development
- Preparing and maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment
- Working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents/carers

To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience working within an EYFS setting, ideally within a primary school

- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply), plus overseas police checks if applicable
- Professional references and a full CV with all employment and education history explained
- The legal right to work in the UK
