The school is part of a supportive trust, providing excellent resources and strong opportunities for professional development across the wider network.
Key Responsibilities for the Early Years Practitioner Role:
- Work as part of a team to support the daily running of the EYFS department
- Support across EYFS and Reception classes
- Work with pupils with additional needs, including ASD and behavioural challenges
- Plan and deliver activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Work closely with the class teacher to support planning and preparation
- Help children achieve key developmental milestones
Requirements:
- Holds a Level 2 Early Years qualification or an equivalent childcare qualification
- Has prior experience supporting children within EYFS or Reception environments
- Able to travel independently to and from Wisbech
- Good understanding of early childhood development and EYFS frameworks
- Caring, patient, and proactive approach when working with young children
