Are you a CACHE Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner seeking to move into a school-based setting? Would you like to work during term time only, within school hours, while gaining valuable experience in a structured and supportive Early Years environment?
Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Barking and Dagenham. We are seeking enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join schools on both short-term and long-term supply contracts. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals currently working in nurseries or private childcare settings who are looking to transition into a school environment and enjoy more flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning and development through play-based activities in accordance with the EYFS framework.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to provide targeted support for children with additional needs, including autism and speech and language challenges.
- Assist with early literacy, numeracy, and personal and social development.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
- Monitor and record children's progress, identifying any areas requiring additional support.
Requirements
- A recognised CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Experience in nursery or EYFS settings, whether private or school-based.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- SEN experience is highly desirable.
Compliance Criteria
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Two recent professional references.
