Are you a dedicated and passionate Level 2 or 3 Early Years professional ready to inspire and nurture young minds?
We\'re seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educators to join our welcoming pre-school setting in Sunderland, starting November 2nd 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a stimulating and supportive environment where every child can flourish.
About the Role:
You\'ll be working full-time on temporary contract, this setting is open all year round: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, playing a crucial role in the development and education of our pre-school children. Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children\'s learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel happy, secure, and confident to explore.
Supporting and encouraging toileting with young children.
Assisting with the personal care of young children, including babies and under 2-year-olds.
Helping with mealtimes, including feeding and cleaning up.
Supporting continuous provision, fostering curiosity in learning, and promoting a mix of indoor and outdoor learning to enhance children\'s development and understanding of the wider world.
Observing and assessing children\'s progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to their individual learning journeys.
Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in your care, adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
What We\'re Looking For:
A full Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent recognised qualification).
Previous experience working in a pre-school or nursery setting with young children.
A comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
A genuine passion for working with young children, understanding their unique developmental needs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning and development.
A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive early years environment.
