A large secondary school based in Ealing is looking for a PE Cover Supervisor to start on a long-term basis, with opportunities for ongoing work. This position is a temporary cover role, full time although the school is open to part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Pay rate is £100-£150 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise PE lessons during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged in physical activities and follow lesson plans.
- Manage student behaviour effectively in both indoor and outdoor PE settings, maintaining a safe and structured environment.
- Support students during activities by offering guidance and encouragement, without planning or delivering new content.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times, including risk assessments and equipment checks.
