Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools throughout Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced practitioners and ECTs to gain varied experience, work in supportive environments, and maintain a great work‑life balance.
About the Role
As a Supply Teacher for Tradewind, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality lessons across KS3–KS5 in your specialist subject. You will also be expected to manage classroom behaviour, follow school policies, and ensure pupils remain engaged and supported in their learning. We work with a wide range of schools, from large academies to smaller community schools, allowing you to experience different settings and find the perfect fit for your teaching style.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Passion for teaching
- Reliable, adaptable and confident in different classroom settings
