Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Drama Teacher for a secondary school in Ellesmere Port for a temporary 6‑month full‑time contract.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate Drama Teacher to work in a welcoming secondary school in Ellesmere Port. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring students through performance, creativity, and confidence‑building.

The school has a great performing arts department and, due to a planned long‑term absence, is looking for someone who can commit to full‑time work from 8:30am to 3:30pm and attend occasional school meetings.

The role covers coverage from January through July 2026 and is open to applications from all levels of experience teachers from M1 to S4.

The Role

  • Teaching Drama across Key Stage 3 & 4
  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons
  • Encouraging student participation, creativity, and self‑expression
  • Assessing progress and supporting students of varying abilities
  • Contributing to school productions and extracurricular activities where appropriate
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment

To be considered for this role

  • Proof of Right to Work (e.g., passport or birth certificate)
  • A CV covering 10 years of education or employment
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to process one with us (cost refunded)
