The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with their learning and reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include
- Supporting pupils on a
1:1 or small-group basis .
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning.
- Providing additional support to pupils who may have
SEN or additional learning needs .
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting pupils with their confidence, engagement and independence.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and following school behaviour policies.
- Building strong and positive relationships with pupils.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other members of staff.
- Supporting pupils both academically and pastorally where required.
