We're working with a welcoming primary school in Daventry that is looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that places a real emphasis on nurturing children, building strong relationships and creating a positive start to education.
The successful candidate will become part of a supportive staff team where ideas are shared, wellbeing is valued and children are encouraged to learn through curiosity, creativity and exploration.
Your Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for an Early Years class, delivering engaging and purposeful learning experiences
- Create a welcoming classroom where children feel safe, happy and confident to explore
- Plan activities that support all areas of learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework
- Track children's progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Encourage independence, resilience and positive learning behaviours
- Work closely with support staff and parents to ensure every child reaches their potential
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school and contribute to the Early Years team
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching in an Early Years setting
- Understands child development and the EYFS curriculum
- Can create engaging learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors
- Is patient, enthusiastic and committed to helping every child succeed
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with families and colleagues
- Is passionate about creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued
