We are currently seeking an experienced Data Manager to join a thriving secondary school on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to make an immediate impact and support the school through a period of absence cover.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Managing and maintaining the school\'s MIS (Management Information System) to ensure data is accurate and up to date.
- Producing reports and analysis to support senior leadership and teaching staff.
- Overseeing assessment data, attendance, timetabling, and student records.
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR and safeguarding regulations when handling sensitive data.
- Providing training and support to staff on data systems and processes.
- Supporting whole-school improvement by identifying trends and patterns in student performance data.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working as a Data Manager (preferably within a school setting).
- Strong knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, or similar school MIS systems.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and data reporting.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
