Are you looking to launch your career in IT while gaining a recognised qualification? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice IT Technician to join a growing and ambitious school trust from July/August 2026.
Working as part of a busy IT Services team, you will play a key role in providing technical support across the organisation while working towards a Level 3 IT Technician Apprenticeship.
As an Apprentice IT Technician, you will:
- Provide first-line technical support to staff and students, helping to maintain and improve the organisation's IT infrastructure and digital learning environment.
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software and network issues.
- Assist users with IT-related queries and troubleshooting problems.
- Support classroom technology and digital learning resources.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of wider IT systems.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, data protection, health and safety policies.
- Develop technical knowledge and skills through your apprenticeship programme.
Requirements:
- Demonstrates strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
- Has a positive attitude towards supporting young people and staff.
