About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to provide high-quality support throughout the school day. You'll help pupils develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning while contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
  • Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning

  • Helping to deliver intervention sessions in literacy and numeracy
  • Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement
  • Assisting with classroom preparation, activities, and daily routines
  • Supporting the wellbeing and personal development of all pupils

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Enjoys working with children and building positive relationships
  • Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about education
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Can adapt to the changing needs of a busy primary school
  • Is reliable, organised, and committed to supporting every child's success
  • Has experience with children through schools, nurseries, childcare, coaching, youth work, or similar settings (desirable but not essential)
