Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with exceptional skills in behaviour management and de-escalation techniques? If so, Tradewind is looking for someone like you to join their team in a behavioural support role.

As a successful candidate, you will have experience in Team Teach, Pru, alternative provision, or as a support worker in a residential children's home. You will also have either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in teaching support or a related field.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with selected pupils outside of the classroom situation, including those excluded from or not working to a normal timetable.
  • Develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements with pupils to help them agree on plans and targets to move forward.
  • Provide information and advice to enable pupils to make choices about their own learning, behaviour, and attendance.
  • Provide support to pupils to enhance their emotional health and well-being (EHWB).
  • Help pupils to follow individual Education Plans where appropriate.
  • Assist in organising and running small group interventions such as circle time.
  • Liaise with parents and carers.

To be considered for this role, you must be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references checks. You must also provide a CV with a full employment and education history included, with any employment breaks explained. You must have the legal right to work in the UK.

This is a full-time role starting ASAP and the competitive pay rate will be between £95 to £100 per day, depending on experience.
