Tradewind Recruitment are seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work in education, whether on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. You will be working within a variety of partnership schools, gaining valuable experience in different educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Ensure a positive and productive learning environment
  • Support students in completing tasks set by the class teacher
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student welfare at all times
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people (in a school or similar setting)
  • Strong classroom management skills and confidence leading a class
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in different schools
  • A proactive and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A degree or relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
