We are currently seeking a committed and knowledgeable Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work full-time (5 days per week) across secondary schools in Lewisham, supporting students in Maths, English, and Science. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LSA who is passionate about education and keen to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and welcoming school environment.

The Role

  • Provide targeted in-class and small-group support in core subjects (Maths, English, and Science)
  • Support students across KS3 and KS4 to access the curriculum and reach their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to deliver effective learning support
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and/or Science
  • A degree is preferred (particularly in a core subject or education-related field)
  • Confident, proactive, and able to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Committed to student progress, inclusion, and high standards of learning
