Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis in a range of supportive primary and secondary schools across Corby and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and who are looking for flexible, rewarding work within education.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may have needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, or physical disabilities, providing tailored support to help them access learning and reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
