This opportunity is ideal for an English graduate who is considering a future career in teaching and wants to gain hands-on classroom experience.
About the English Graduate Teacher Programme
This programme is designed to support aspiring English teachers by providing valuable in-school experience prior to progressing onto formal teacher training routes such as PGCE, School Direct, or SCITT. You will work closely with experienced English teachers, developing your subject knowledge, classroom confidence, and behaviour management skills.
- Supporting English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to develop literacy skills
- Assisting with lesson delivery, planning, and resource preparation
- Supporting classroom behaviour and student engagement
