Tradewind Recruitment are pleased to be working with a supportive and specialist Alternative Provision in Wellingborough that is seeking a dedicated Construction Tutor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction industry experience who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them develop practical skills for future careers.
The provision supports Key Stage 4 students who benefit from smaller, more personalised learning environments. The setting focuses on helping students re-engage with education through practical learning, strong relationships and clear pathways into further training or employment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver practical construction-based learning sessions for KS4 students
- Plan engaging, hands-on activities that develop practical skills
- Support students in building confidence, independence and teamwork
- Work collaboratively with a Teaching Assistant to support behaviour and engagement
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment within the workshop or classroom

Requirements / Suitable Background
