Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Manage the school budget, overseeing procurement, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Operations & Facilities: Lead on site management, health and safety, and contractor relations to ensure a safe, high-quality learning environment.
- Human Resources: Manage staff contracts, recruitment administration, and the Single Central Record (SCR).
- Strategic Growth: Work closely with the Headteacher to identify funding opportunities, grants, and income generation.
- Safeguarding: Ensure all business operations comply with the highest safeguarding standards, including an enhanced DBS check upon appointment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Proven experience in business management, finance, or HR (ideally within an education or SEN/AP setting).
- Skills: Strong proficiency in financial software and a sharp eye for detail.
- Mindset: You are a problem-solver who remains calm under pressure and understands the unique challenges of an Alternative Provision.
Location: Ideally based in or near Barnoldswick, Colne, Nelson, or Burnley.
