We are currently supporting a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive English department that values creativity, high standards, and a genuine passion for developing students' skills in reading, writing, and communication.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available where appropriate)
  • Inspire students to develop confidence and enjoyment in English
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, well-structured lessons
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress effectively
  • Contribute to a positive and ambitious learning culture
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated and supportive department

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
  • A genuine enthusiasm for English and student progress
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
