We are currently supporting a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive English department that values creativity, high standards, and a genuine passion for developing students' skills in reading, writing, and communication.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available where appropriate)
- Inspire students to develop confidence and enjoyment in English
- Plan and deliver high-quality, well-structured lessons
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress effectively
- Contribute to a positive and ambitious learning culture
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated and supportive department
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
- Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
- A genuine enthusiasm for English and student progress
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
