Are you looking for a rewarding role in education this September? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a number of welcoming primary schools across Northampton who are looking for dedicated Class Teaching Assistants to join their teams for the new academic year.

The role:

  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
  • Working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis to help pupils achieve their potential.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and building pupils' confidence.
  • Helping to create an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and resources.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working with children or young people (school experience is desirable but not essential).
  • A positive, patient and proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is advantageous, although we can help you obtain one if needed.
