We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work full-time across a range of secondary schools in Lewisham. Responsibilities
- Supporting students with challenging behaviour on a one-to-one and small group basis
- Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement with learning
- Working closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral leads
- Acting as a positive role model and building strong, trusting relationships with students
- Contributing to behaviour support plans and intervention strategies
Qualifications
- Previous and relevant experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar pastoral/behaviour support role
- Proven experience working within secondary school settings
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- A calm, resilient, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
