Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with teaching staff to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both within the classroom and through targeted small-group or one-to-one interventions.
- Help adapt lessons, implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and create an inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting children or young people, ideally in a school setting.
- A background in working with students with SEND.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Strong communication, patience, and a proactive approach.
