A friendly, inclusive and welcoming two‑form entry primary school is looking to secure Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their school from September 2026. This role is ideal for graduates who are considering a future career in education, psychology, speech and language therapy or a related field, and who are keen to gain valuable, hands‑on experience in a primary school setting. Experience within a school is not required; however, a genuine desire to support children in more than likely Y3 and Y4 (subject to change) is essential.

Role responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils' learning in class, in small groups and on a one‑to‑one basis
  • Working closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning
  • Helping to create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a degree (or are graduating in summer 2026)
  • Are enthusiastic, patient and proactive

  • Work well as part of a team

This position is full-time (5 days per week) during term time, 8 AM - 4 PM.

Legal and Other Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS and/or Overseas Police checks
  • A CV that covers your employment and education history since you finished formal education and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Legal Right to work in the UK
