Tradewind are working with a two-form entry primary school in Greenford rated 'Good' by Ofsted, to recruit an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) for a full-time role starting February 2026 and continuing until July 2026. This is a welcoming, community-focused school with a strong focus on inclusion and pupil wellbeing. The leadership team are experienced in supporting ECTs and offer regular mentoring, additional release time, and practical guidance to help you settle into your first teaching role. The school benefits from modern facilities, well-resourced classrooms, and a dedicated support team including experienced teaching assistants in each year group. Located close to Greenford Station (Central Line and National Rail), the school has on-site parking and excellent transport links to Ealing, Harrow, and Brent.
The Role:
- Teach a class within EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (year group to be confirmed based on your experience and preference).
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Track and assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with your phase leader and mentor to develop your teaching practice.
- Take part in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Requirements:
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or in the process of completing your ECT year.
- Strong placement experience within a UK primary school.
- Excellent communication skills and a reflective approach to teaching.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn as part of a supportive team.
