Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable Tutors to work with Alternative Provisions across the Chesterfield area on a flexible supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators, tutors, teaching assistants, or individuals with a background in supporting young people with additional needs who are looking for flexible work that fits around their schedule.

The successful candidate will provide tailored academic and pastoral support to students who may be working outside of mainstream education due to a range of social, emotional, behavioural, or educational needs. Sessions may take place in alternative provision settings, community venues, or other agreed locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational, mentoring, coaching, or support capacity.

  • A patient, resilient, and flexible approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as travel across the Chesterfield area will be required.
