Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
  • Coordinate and monitor EHCPs and provision mapping
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies
  • Support and train staff in best practices for inclusive education
  • Ensure the school remains compliant with SEND legislation and statutory requirements
Requirements
  • SENDCO qualification - this is essential
  • Previous experience working in a similar SEND leadership role within a secondary school setting
  • A strong understanding of current SEND legislation and best practice
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for inclusion and improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs
