Are you passionate about supporting young children in a fun, safe, and engaging environment? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Supervisor to work in roles across Chesterfield. This role involves overseeing an after-school provision for a small group of children, helping to create a positive end to their school day through structured activities, play opportunities, and a nurturing atmosphere.
Working with approximately small groups of children usually 10-15 children from Early Years and Key Stage 2, you will take responsibility for the smooth running after-school clubs each afternoon. You will encourage participation in a variety of activities, support children's well-being, and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for a rewarding part-time role within an educational setting.
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the after-school provision
- Organising creative, educational, and recreational activities
- Supervising children and promoting positive behaviour
- Providing refreshments and ensuring appropriate food hygiene standards are followed
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment at all times
- Liaising effectively with parents, carers, and school staff
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies
What We're Looking For

- First Aid and Food Hygiene qualifications would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the successful candidate
