Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for multiple enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in the Chester area, with an urgent start on Monday 28th September.
We have a number of opportunities available, including both 1:1 and class-based Teaching Assistant positions.
The Role
- You will be supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs and additional needs, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
- Depending on the position, you may be:
- Providing 1:1 support to an individual pupil
- Working as part of a classroom support team
- Supporting pupils with additional and complex needs
- Helping pupils engage with lessons and activities
- Supporting emotional, behavioural and social development
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff
- Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For
We’re keen to hear from candidates with experience in:
- SEN/SEND settings
- Schools or education
- 1:1 pupil support
- Autism or additional needs
- Behavioural or pastoral support
- Care or support work
- Youth work or residential settings
Relevant transferable experience will also be considered - you don’t necessarily need to have worked as a Teaching Assistant previously.
