Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Chester who are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified History specialist who is enthusiastic about delivering engaging lessons and inspiring pupils to develop a strong understanding of the past. The school are looking for someone who can start from the 16th April and can work up until the end of May 2026. The schools working hours are 8:30am to 4:00pm. The role will be teaching KS3-KS5 History which will require a small amount of planning and marking.
Responsibilities
- Teaching History across KS3 to KS5
- Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons
- Assessing, marking, and tracking pupil progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school staff
Requirements
- Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
- A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
- A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
