Tradewind are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to work in secondary schools across Warrington and St. Helens. Whether you are an experienced Science Teacher, an ECT, or a subject specialist seeking flexible teaching work, we would love to hear from you.
Due to increased demand from partner secondary schools, we are looking for a Science Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Opportunities are available for Biology, Chemistry and Physics specialists on both a supply and long-term basis.
The role:
- Delivering high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching Biology, Chemistry or Physics within secondary schools
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Planning and marking where required
- Supporting pupils to achieve strong academic progress
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching experience
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for secondary education and student progress
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
