SEMH & Alternative Provision Teaching Assistants Needed - Chelmsford

We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in SEMH schools and Alternative Provision settings across Harlow. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 8-16 with additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), ADHD, PTSD, ASD and challenging behaviours.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs in their learning and personal development
  • Working closely with class teachers to create engaging and interactive activities
  • Helping children develop social skills and positive relationships
  • Maintaining a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment
  • Making a genuine difference to young people's lives every day

What we're looking for:

  • A genuine interest in supporting young people, especially those with mental health needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy and resilience
  • Previous experience is a bonus - but not essential as full training will be given

The role:

  • Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only
  • Pay: from £95 per day and upwards depending on experience
  • Start: September and Temp to Perm options
  • Location: Harlow
