Tradewind Recruitment is working with a successful and inclusive secondary school in Chatteris, currently seeking a Science Teacher to join their dynamic team on a full‑time, short‑term (temporary) basis starting from January. This position is suitable for an experienced Science teacher or instructor who is passionate about delivering high‑quality education to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Job Role Requirements

• Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans that cater to a diverse student population.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
• Work collaboratively within a strong Science department.
• Must have UK classroom experience in a UK classroom.

Qualifications and Person Specification

• QTS and a degree in a Science‑related subject / or experience teaching in the UK.
• Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective behaviour management skills.
• A commitment to high academic standards and continuous improvement.
• Ability to inspire, engage and challenge students of all abilities.
