Tradewind Recruitment are actively looking for Teachers of Science to work at a range of secondary schools in the Canterbury area from September until the end of the year with the view of extending beyond!

Salary: £32,916 - £51,047 depending on experience and current payscale - PAYE

The role:

  • Plan and deliver lessons across all 3 disciplines of Science to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Create learning experiences that cater to the needs and abilities of all students
  • Attend departmental meetings and parents evenings when required
  • Monitor and record student progress effectively and provide feedback to support their academic growth and development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge across Chemistry, Physics and Biology
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Experience of teaching Science to KS3 and/or KS4 students
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
