- What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is an advantage but not essential).
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and musical expression both in and outside the classroom.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress to help every learner achieve their potential.
- Contribute to performances, concerts, extracurricular clubs, and wider academy events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple academy sites to share ideas and maintain high standards.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every student can thrive.
- What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A degree in Music or a closely related subject.
- Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
- Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills.
- A passion for inspiring young people through music and performance.
- Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple academy locations within Rotherham.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Tradewind Recruitment.
