Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with well-established primary schools in Cambridge to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Years 3-6. This is a long-term, full-time position, ideal for graduates considering teacher training or experienced Level 2 TAs seeking progression.
Your Role in School
- You will work closely with teaching staff to provide focused academic support, helping pupils strengthen core skills and build confidence in preparation for upper KS2 assessments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored 1:1 academic support
- Supporting class teacher with SATS Preparation
- Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Supporting pupil engagement and positive behaviour
- Contributing to pupil progress tracking and feedback
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or a relevant degree
