The predicted salary is between 22500 - 27500 £ per year.
We are working in partnership with secondary schools in Market Rasen and the surrounding areas that are looking to appoint dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join their supportive teams from September. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the SEND team to support students with a variety of additional needs, including:
- Social, Emotional and Behavioural needs (SEMH)
- Lower cognitive ability
- Low-level Autism (ASD)
- Dyslexia
- ADHD
- Some students with physical disabilities
- Personal care support (if you are comfortable providing this)
You will play an important role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment while encouraging students to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with additional needs (school, care, youth work or similar experience is welcomed)
- Is patient, empathetic and resilient
- Can build positive relationships with students and staff
- Is confident supporting students with behavioural, social and emotional needs
- Is comfortable providing personal care where required (desirable but not essential)
- Is committed to helping every student succeed
