Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bury, who are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join their team as a full-time PPA Cover Teacher from September 2026. This is a full-time role for the full academic year and would suit a confident and adaptable teacher who enjoys teaching across a range of year groups while building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across the primary phase, ensuring continuity of learning while class teachers are released for PPA time. The school offers a supportive working environment, excellent behaviour throughout the school, and a strong sense of community.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent UK primary teaching experience (MPS3 or above - Ideally around 5 years experience)
  • Be confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be flexible, organised and able to adapt to different classroom environments
  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and pupil progress
