Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a warm, welcoming SEN school in Burton seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time maternity cover.

Responsibilities
• Teach pupils with a range of additional needs, including
- Autism (ASC)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Communication and interaction needs
- Collaborate with experienced teaching assistants and a supportive leadership team
- Deliver engaging, personalised learning that helps every child develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning
Qualifications
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching children with SEND in either a mainstream or specialist setting
- Is patient, creative, and adaptable in their approach
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
- Is committed to providing inclusive, high-quality education
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
