The Role
- Support students both within the classroom and through small group interventions.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
- Provide tailored support to pupils with varying learning needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
- Help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with children or young people in education, care, youth work, coaching, or a similar setting.
- Is patient, adaptable, and resilient.
- Can build strong, professional relationships with pupils.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to helping children overcome barriers to learning.
- Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience (desirable but not essential).
