The role:
- Plan and deliver both practical and theory based Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Inspire and educate students through hands on cooking experiences, creative projects and engaging lessons
- Attend parents evenings and Departmental meetings after school where required
Requirements:
- Hold QTS status, equivalent teaching qualification or have relevant teaching experience
- Have strong subject knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum across KS3 and KS4
- Experience of teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting is essential
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
